The XTC17.2CF also comes complete with a smart adjustable tweeter. This enables you to focus the sound on your listening angle of choice which leads to a higher, deeper sound stage and more detailed separation.

Moreover, the glass fibre woven cone adds a layer of rigidity without the added weight, contributing to a much more immersive audio experience. Not only this, but its shorter tweeter mast allows for easy and convenient installation into vehicles which may be restricted in space.

As the XTC17.2CF is a two way speaker, utilising two speakers rather than just one, you will experience a richer and more detailed sound as opposed to their dual cone counterparts. The tweeter at the centre of the cone enables higher end frequencies (treble) to be distributed out from a single point, giving a more accurate delivery. This also does not require a separate crossover to fit them as it is built in.

Providing medium to high power, the XTC17.2CF provides up to 75W RMS to each speaker and 320W peak power for both - a high level for a 17cm speaker. The speakers can be run on your headunit or via a separate amplifier. However, when using with power amps we recommend to use the subsonic feature on the amplifier to reduce the subsonic frequencies. The reason for this is that it will reduce distortion and improve bass as well as the overall listening experience.
